Terms of sale
A few quiet words on how we work, so there are no surprises. Placing an order means you accept them. Nothing here takes away a right the law gives you as a consumer.
Who you are buying from
Sorelia Studio is the trading name of Diana Gainullina, who sells the bags, makes them by hand and is the person answering when you write.

The bags
Every bag is made by hand in the studio, in small numbers.
Because each is made by hand, the fall of the satin and the way the beads catch the light differ a little from bag to bag and from the photographs. That is the nature of the thing rather than a fault. Screens also show colour differently; the shade names describe the cloth, not your monitor.
Prices and payment
Prices are shown in euros (€), or in US dollars ($) if you are visiting from the United States. The price you see at checkout, with delivery added, is the whole of what you pay us. Where the shop shows an approximate figure in your own currency, it is an estimate for guidance; the amount charged is the one shown at checkout.
Payment is taken by Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe and never reach us — we never see them and never hold them.

Your order
Choosing a bag and paying is your offer to buy it. The page you land on afterwards, and the email that follows, confirm that we have your order and your payment — they are not yet our acceptance of it.
The contract between us is made when we write to tell you your bag is on its way. If we cannot make your order — the last of a shade has just gone, or something was priced wrongly — we will tell you and refund you in full. Nothing is owed by either of us in that case.
Delivery
Delivery destinations, prices and times are shown at checkout for the address you give. Please see the shipping page for what to expect between ordering and opening the box.
The bag is at our risk until it is delivered to you or to someone you have named to receive it. If you choose a parcel locker, it is at our risk until it is placed in the locker and you have been sent the code to open it.
Changing your mind
You have fourteen days from the day the bag reaches you to change your mind, without giving any reason. The returns page sets out how to tell us, how long you then have to send it back, what we refund and when, and carries the form you may use.
If something is wrong with the bag
Separately from changing your mind, and whatever these terms say, the law gives you rights when goods are faulty or not as described. The bag must match its description, be of the quality and have the qualities you can reasonably expect, and be fit for what such a bag is for.
If it is not, you may ask us to repair or replace it, and if that is not done within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience to you, you may ask for an appropriate reduction in the price or unwind the sale and be refunded. These rights last two years from delivery. In the first year, a fault that appears is taken to have been there when the bag reached you unless we can show otherwise.
Write to hello@wearsorelia.com with a photograph or two and your order number and we will put it right. We pay the cost of returning a faulty bag.
Our pictures and our words
The photographs, films, drawings and writing on this site are ours, and the name Sorelia Studio is ours. Please enjoy them here rather than reproducing them elsewhere. Buying a bag gives you the bag, not the pictures of it.
Our responsibility
We do not limit our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything the law does not allow to be limited — including your rights as a consumer, which nothing in these terms reduces.
Beyond that, we are responsible for loss that follows naturally from our breaking these terms and that we could reasonably have foreseen when you ordered.
Law and where a dispute is heard
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Cyprus. If you live in another country of the European Union or the European Economic Area, that choice does not deprive you of the protection of any rule of your own country’s law that cannot be agreed away — those protections continue to apply to you.
You may bring proceedings in the courts of Cyprus or in the courts of the country where you live, and we will bring any proceedings against you only in the courts of the country where you live.
